DR's Pure Blues electric guitar strings are made with pure nickel wrap wire that is  round wound on round cores. This method of string production proves to create an electric guitar string sets that have a longer sustain, vintage tone, and great low tones. This makes for a strings that is great for both rhythm and lead playing. The additional  work of wrapping the pure nickel around a round core gives DR Pure Blues the ability to project and cut better that some other vintage style strings.
